Every piece of furniture that you can find on this site is made with 100% reclaimed wood, built by hand, using minimal power tools and locally sourced products.
We’re committed to using reclaimed wood and upcycled materials, turning them into new, beautiful timeless pieces of furniture. Whether it’s creating regular pieces or bespoke items, we always give the same amount of attention and care to everything we make.
By using discarded and pre-used materials, we are doing our bit to prevent waste and be eco-friendly.
We’re constantly looking at ways to improve our sustainability pledge and in the process of setting up a planting promise, where we will plant a tree for every purchase you make. Below are details of the sustainability measures we’ve already got in place.
Reclaimed Wood
All the furniture available on our website is made from 100% reclaimed wood, sourced from a local woodstore.
By using second hand materials, this helps limit our impact on the environment and stopping it going to waste.
Your reclaimed wood furniture may come with bumps, dents, knots, rusted nail holes, old stains, branded imprints, cracks and blemishes for an authentic rustic look.
Wax Finishes
- We use Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish across our range, which contains a unique, environmentally friendly blend of waxes that naturally enhances the beauty of your wood.
Wood Offcuts
- Offcuts are reused for our smaller products.
- Repurposed into kindling and used at our home over winter!
Sawdust
- We donate or sell on our accumulated bags of sawdust waste, which has been mainly used as bedding material for animals, and so far has been used in chicken coops, hamster cages and cattle!
Couriers
Our primary courier is DHL who are leading the way in their commitment to sustainability.

- First logistics company to commit to a zero-emissions target.
- Deliver nationwide and worldwide through DHL’s GoGreen carbon-neutral service, using electric vehicles locally.
Packaging
We use a number of different suppliers for our packaging needs, several of which are carbon neutral certified. Our packaging is made from recycled materials and it’s both biodegradable and recyclable, reflecting our dedication to sustainable practices.
Foam Protectors
- Manufactured from 100% recycled materials
- 100% recyclable and chemically neutral, making it a more environmentally friendly way to package our high-value products.
Bubble Wrap
- Made from 30% recycled materials.
- Fully recyclable at most conventional recycling facilities.
Cardboard
- All our cardboard we use is donated to us from surrounding businesses. Reducing their waste and giving it a second lease of life. So you may get packaging with old branding promoting crisps and noodles to lift servicing equipment!
Shrink Wrap
- Contains a minimum of 30% recycled content, hence more environmentally friendly than stretch wrap generally produced overseas.
- This can be recycled commercially.
