Our story so far…

Welcome to Project Reclaim – from humble beginnings building furniture in the garage at home, has turned into a job we love and a business to be proud of. We’re committed to using reclaimed materials to create something new and special for our customers.  All the furniture that you can find on this site is built by hand, using minimal power tools and locally sourced products.

We use reclaimed wood and upcycled materials and turn them into new, beautiful timeless pieces of furniture. Whether creating regular pieces or bespoke items, we always give the same amount of attention and care to everything that we make.

From dining tables and desks, to floating shelves and cookbook stands, there is so much that can be made from reclaimed wood that would fit perfectly into a home or business. And by using discarded and pre-used materials, we are doing our bit to prevent waste and be eco-friendly. We use high quality wax or stain to finish off the pieces, and there are a variety of options (for colours, legs, etc) you can choose from to make your furniture suit your style.

The beauty of reclaimed wood is that it is a live material, so it is always unique and characterful. It responds to its natural surroundings and, like all living things, it ages. So your reclaimed wood furniture may come with knots, rusted nail holes, old stains, cracks and blemishes for an authentic look. But don’t worry, I still make sure everything is properly treated and suitable for its intended use – so it remains fully functional and stands the test of time.
