How We Got Here
What started out as a side hustle for Luke Richardson in 2019, has turned into a dream job and a small business to be proud of.
When the global pandemic hit in 2020, Luke’s full time job working in the Film & TV Industry ceased to exist overnight. With the industry in complete lockdown, Luke set up a gazebo in his back garden and purchased 25 x 13ft reclaimed wood boards.
Turning this into handmade, sustainable wooden furniture, those board numbers very quickly dwindled and more where quickly ordered into the back garden of his North London home. Project Reclaim was born.
Moving to Kent in 2021 and upscaling to a workshop, Luke has has continued to design and create reclaimed wood furniture ever since. He works with other like minded small businesses, to expand the range of available furniture.

What We Do
Every piece of our reclaimed wood furniture we make is built by hand, using minimal power tools and locally sourced products.
We’re committed to using reclaimed wood and upcycled materials, turning them into new, beautiful timeless pieces of furniture. Whether creating regular pieces or bespoke items, we always give the same amount of attention and care to everything that we make.
Handmade
All our wooden furniture is handmade in Kent. Our furniture is made to order, fully customisable and totally unique.
By not mass producing items, we’re able to maintain the quality of the items and do our bit, by helping reduce our impact on Mother Earth!
Sustainable
We use 100% reclaimed wood for our full range of furniture. By using discarded and pre-used materials, we are doing our bit to prevent waste and be eco-friendly.
From off cuts to how we package our furniture, sustainability is an integral part of who we are and what we’re doing at Project Reclaim.
